J. Crew Floral Maxi

Two posts this week… who am I?!

Had to get on and share another win for J. Crew! I’ve been loving their store lately, which is crazy because I’ve actually never shopped there in the past. Their stuff is SO cute this year, I can’t help but think I’ve been missing out all this time! From the Italian tees to their dresses and bathing suits, everything is catching my eye! And their sales/pricing are pretty good considering the quality of their clothing.

I was out shopping at the outlet mall over Memorial Day Weekend (yes, a while ago) and I stumbled upon this dress. Frank was in need of a few things so I stopped in on a whim. This was my first time in their Factory store and I could definitely tell which items were higher quality vs. outlet quality. I always thought their outlet was a lesser version of the regular store (like many other brands) but now I know, it’s a mix.

This dress is actually pretty top notch. The dress is long, lined, has a lot of detail and kind of a linen material. Sometimes cheap “linen” dresses are not very breathable and stiff. This one is not like that at all, especially considering it ties at the waist. It also doesn’t really wrinkle or feel too heavy/light. It’s honestly perfect. It can be dressed up or down. I wore it to work a bit more casually, with wedges and my red Gucci. Throw on a pair of heels and you can easily wear this for a fancy night out!.

The best part is— I was able to find this exact dress online and still in stock. The factory store has a website and they are running the same 50% off deal when I purchased it. I’m also linking a few other items (including stuff from their regular store) that I have my eye on. If you haven’t been to a J. Crew lately, I highly recommend giving them a fresh look!

And that’s all for this week— signing off for some family time for the holiday. Hope everyone has a safe & happy 4th of July!
