Jumping on quickly to share one of my favorite outfits from this week. Even before I bought my Chanel bag, I’d been on the hunt for a tweed blazer. If you’re into fashion history, you probably know that Coco Chanel was the first person to create a tweed jacket it’s been a huge/iconic part of the brand’s history. I just love the style for winter, with the woven patterns. Obviously now, they’re much more common and you don’t have to pay an outrageous amount of money for the classic look.
I see them all the time at Zara, H&M, Bloomingdale’s, etc. but never found one that fit me particularly well. Because I’m on the petite side, I’m usually in-between sizes and hate when a jacket looks baggy on my arms or too long on my torso. I happened to walk into White House Black Market to check out the after Christmas sales and fell in LOVE with this jacket. It was, of course, the only thing NOT on sale in the store. Luckily, there were some coupons at the time so I got it for a semi-reasonable price. This jacket looks tailored, it’s a little bit cropped, super high quality and just so timeless. It’s not very often that I get excited to wear a blazer to work, but this one definitely makes it a bit more fun.
Also, you can’t really see it in my photos, but I’m wearing my new apple watch band that I got on Amazon for such a good price! I have bought over 5 different bands to find one that looked nice for work AND fit my small wrists. I have the old series 1 version and this band matches perfectly PLUS has a ton of links that can be taken out to fit almost anyone.
Details & links to everything below.
Have a wonderful weekend!!
