Holiday Table & Decor 2018

It's been fun to decorate the house for the holidays and I'm so glad we finally have a space to welcome all our friends & family. This year we hosted Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve.

Setting the table in my own dining room has been so much fun! Our table is from Restoration Hardware and I’d been eyeing it for several years. I wanted it when I bought my townhouse but it wouldn’t fit. I’m so glad I held out and waited until we moved so that we could get the bigger version of it. We found chairs that match almost identically on Amazon and for much cheaper than the RH version. We replaced a half wall in our living room with open bookcase shelving to match the gray wood and I’ve been taking my time to decorate it with things I love.

I’m sharing the table we decorated for both holidays and linking where things are from below. The chargers are one of my favorite finds. I fell in love with the glass version of these at Z Gallerie but found a high quality plastic version of them on Amazon (linked below). They are high quality AND baby proof! All of my other decor was from Home Goods, Pier 1, At Home, Amazon, Crate & Barrel (I’m fortunate to live down the street from their outlet store).

Also new this year was our Christmas tree. It was another Black Friday purchase and I’m so excited that we finally have a flocked (and much taller) tree. Our ceilings are pretty vaulted so it still almost looks tiny in our room but up close it’s pretty big. The tree we got is seriously the prettiest with a ton of lights, acorns and thick & full branches all throughout. It’s from Home Depot and is still in stock and on sale!

I’ve always loved how Christmas decorations make the house feel warm & cozy. This year I feel especially grateful every time I walk downstairs and see what we’ve done so far. I’ve enjoyed our first Christmas in our own home and once everything is taken down, we’ll have a lot of empty space to fill!

Merry Christmas Everyone!
